About Ivan Spibey – Director, Atom HR

After joining the rail industry from school, Ivan was a trade union representative during the early part of his career. Eventually he was offered a personnel management position and the trade union activity then had to cease.

Upon leaving the rail industry Ivan then went on to work in HR management roles with Nottingham City Council, Screwfix Direct and Crossrail, before starting consultancy work.

Following fifteen years working in HR consultancy roles for the First Assist Group and Qdos Consulting, he decided to start up his own business to provide a more personal and specific service. This enables organisations to enjoy the full benefit of Ivan’s expertise.

As an HR Consultant, Ivan has worked with businesses of all types and sizes. Clients include retail, logistics, transport, engineering, accountants and charities, amongst others.

In his spare time Ivan is active with his interests in sport. This includes being involved in running the local cricket club, and he also enjoys football being a Leicester City season ticket holder.
